Creator & Payout Terms

These Creator & Payout Terms apply to anyone who sells products, runs a community, or receives payouts on Yoink (each a “Creator”). They supplement, and are part of, our Terms of Service. By claiming a space or listing a product, you agree to these terms. Yoink is operated by [Company legal entity].

1. Your space and your products

• You are responsible for the products you list — memberships, courses, and downloads — including their description, price, quality, fulfillment, and any promises you make to members.
• You are responsible for your community, including moderation and the conduct of members within your space, subject to our Acceptable Use & Content Policy.
• You confirm you have the rights to sell and distribute everything you list, and that your content does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other rights.

2. Merchant of record and consumer obligations

Unless expressly stated otherwise, you are the seller and merchant of record for your sales. You are responsible for honoring your published policies, the platform Refund & Returns Policy, and your customers’ statutory consumer rights. Yoink provides the platform and payment connections; it is not the seller of your products.

3. Payment processing and connected accounts

Payments are processed by Stripe. To receive payouts you must connect and maintain a Stripe account in good standing and complete any identity and business verification Stripe requires. Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement and other applicable Stripe terms, in addition to these terms.

4. Platform fees

• No monthly fee. Yoink takes 4% of each sale. Stripe’s fees come out of your own Stripe account: 2.9% + 30¢ per US card payment, plus 0.7% on memberships (Stripe Billing). The fee in effect at the time of a transaction applies.
• Members pay the price you set. No added buyer fees.
• Yoink keeps its 4% on refunds and lost chargebacks. Stripe’s own fees on refunds and disputes follow Stripe’s terms.
• We may change platform fees on a forward-looking basis with reasonable notice; changes do not apply retroactively to completed transactions.

5. Payouts

• Net proceeds (the buyer’s payment minus platform and processing fees, refunds, and chargebacks) are paid out to your connected account on the processor’s payout schedule.
• Payouts may be delayed, held, or reserved where required for verification, risk, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
• You are responsible for keeping your payout account details accurate. Yoink is not responsible for payouts that fail or are delayed due to incorrect account information or processor holds.

6. Refunds, chargebacks, and reversals

Refunds you issue, refunds required under the platform Refund & Returns Policy or by law, and chargebacks or disputes initiated by buyers are deducted from your balance or future payouts. You are responsible for the associated amounts, including any processor dispute fees. Excessive refunds, chargebacks, or disputes may result in holds, reserves, or suspension.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any taxes (such as sales tax, VAT, or GST) applicable to your sales, and for any income tax on your earnings, unless we expressly state in writing that Yoink handles a specific tax for you. You are responsible for providing accurate tax information when required.

8. Experience points and perks

If you configure XP, levels, discounts, or product unlocks, you are responsible for honoring the perks you offer to members. XP has no cash value and may be adjusted by Yoink in cases of fraud, abuse, or error.

9. Compliance and prohibited activity

You must comply with all applicable laws and with our Acceptable Use & Content Policy. You may not use Yoink to sell prohibited goods or services, to facilitate fraud or money laundering, or to circumvent platform fees or payment processing. Violations may result in removal of products, withheld payouts, or termination.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your selling privileges, remove products, or withhold or reverse funds where we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created risk, or where required by law or our payment processor. Amounts properly owed to buyers or the processor may be settled from your balance.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided “as is.” Yoink does not guarantee any level of sales, audience, or earnings. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service apply to these Creator & Payout Terms.
